head > 212 and 412

any reason to not do this if ohms are correct? same speakers in both cabs, i like the look of a head on top of a 212 and then again on top of a 412, plus if i got a second head, i could go stereo like that :-d

I used to do this. And I did get a second head and do stereo like this. Definitely more satisfying than a half stack if you find something that works, and all the benefits of a full stack but it seems like a LOT less to lug around when you only have 1 1/2 cabs essentially.

I wanna run a 2x12 and a 4x10. Don't know what to do for a 410. I wanted to get some EHX 10" speakers to continue in my EH lovefest, but they don't have 16 ohm 10 inch speakers, only 8 0hm.

Theoretically, you can chain as many speakers as you want together, as long as the math adds up.

make sure you get very efficient 10"s. i used a Silvertone 4X10" with my THD 2X12" for a bit & the old Jensens in the 4X10 got pretty much drowned out by the far more efficient Celestions in the THD.
