Members goldie-gold
I was quite impressed with it. I checked it against the Keeley MT-2 (which I like - bit too nasal, bit fizzy, but pretty good if you spend a long time tweaking the EQ), the Landmine LD-1 and the H&K Warp Factor. The Krank won. It's actually not as heavy as the others, but I think it has a more usable level of gain. It also feels a bit more touch sensitive than the others too. Got a decent EQ so you have a fair bit of control. I tried the Zvex BOM the other day - now that {censored}ing kicked ass - I don't have the
Members Kassanova
The Krank is the "Boss" of the boutique style pedals. There are heavier pedals and fancier pedals but its a good, solid-sounding pedal as far as distortions go. I like it.
Members gusvolta
eventually my brother would like to get a krank head, but $1800 @_@!!!! and yeah there tons of heavier pedals, but he loves that krank sound, like goldie gold said "It's actually not as heavy as the others, but I think it has a more usable level of gain."
