Members chrisebrooks06 Posted December 23, 2007 Members Share Posted December 23, 2007 ordered this line 6 uber metal pedal a few days ago and picked it up from my local music store today. on first impressions im impressed with it, its pretty sturdy and the battery is dead easy to put in/ replay via depressing the foot pedal and it pops up, takes no time at all. the pedal has the usual scoop/drive/bass/treble and a seperate metal --> insane selection as well as the noise gate which has two settings - setting 1 is a soft and mild noise gate and setting two is ideal for heavy palm muting. i was pretty impressed with tweaking the cntrols to get an early metallica 80's tone and i will be playing around with the modern metal settings tomorrow but it sounds great, im on a budget and this pedal seems a great choice. when bypassed it stays really quiet and seems very versitile. hope you like it thanks chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
