Members ixelion
I have two primary goals in this setup: a) to have full stereo delay and chorus b) each amp will have it's own exclusive distortion the Fender will have the Metal Muff and the Crate will have the Big Muff. Here is a diagram how I want the setup: Here is my problem: Will the Big Muff be running in serial or parallel with the Delay and Chorus? I don't want the Delay and Chorus to be blended with distortion, instead I want them after distortion. It's more important to have full stereo and delay, if necessary I could get rid of the Big Muff and just use the Metal Muff on both amps, but I am curious to see how the two distortions sound together in stereo. Thanks!!
Members ixelion
I just realized this isn't going to work because the Delay pedal acts like a Y splitter and so the Metal Muff will output to both amps rather than just the fender. I am starting to think I should simplify and just use one distortion on both amps. However this brings up a related question: Will the mixed outputs from the delay and chorus also be blended together?
Members six acre lake
If you dont want the muff in stereo then there is no need to have it feed into the mixer...unless you have it using a whole different effect send channel for it. Why not simplify things and run it after the mixer and before the amp you want to feed?
Members smrz
You would need an A/B/Y first to split the signal, so it would go: ABY -> Metal Muff -> Chorus -> Delay -> Champ -> BMP-> Chorus -> Delay -> V8

Members ixelion
Yeah no stereo inputs on the RV-3 or CH-1 I'm thinking of ditching the Big Muff, I was hoping for two different distortions. On the bright side the different amps will probably color the Metal Muff in different ways so I may still get somewhat distinct tones from each amp.
