Members cruciatus
I'm borrowing the DD-6 and fell in love with it's hold function yesterday, but it's only like 2 seconds or so. does the dd-20 do the same thing but for substantially longer? Members Wilbo26
It has 23 seconds of loop time methinks, but its looper doesn't work quite the same way. The DD-6 you hold down the pedal to start recording and then release it...on the DD-20 you tap the pedal to start recording and tap again to stop it. If that makes sense. So yes, it does have more time, but no its not exactly the same thing. The closest thing to what you're looking for is probably going to be the Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai. The DD-20's sound-on-sound is similar to a more controllable hold function, in some ways, in terms of being able to overdub and more time, but the SMMwH is probably worth looking into. Well the DD-6 can do overdubs too. It just works differently and doesn't have enough time for conventional looping.
