Members chesley Posted July 6, 2007 Members Share Posted July 6, 2007 Newb question here I have Cubase LE (probably going to upgrade) and IK's workstation bundle. I have purchased an Axiom 61. The question is which should I set the controller up to control. It would seem to me that setting it up to control Sampletank (I believe this is possible) would give me more flexibility over sounds, correct? Or is this all possible within the DAW? Or can it contol both??? Any help would be appreciated. Members stikygum Posted July 6, 2007 Members Share Posted July 6, 2007 If the Axiom has templates then you could easily control both. I use a Novation SL37 and its easy to set up templates to control multiple things. Controlling the sampler would give you more control over sounds to answer your question, but you'll be using your mouse on your DAW and your sampler probably anyways, so it just matters what suits you.
