Members Leaves
I lucked out a while ago and got a vintage MXR Script Logo Distortion + from a pawn shop for $25. I REALLY like the level of clarity it retains even with the distortion past 3 o'clock. I don't really want to gig out with it for obvious reasons and was wondering if the newer block logo pedals will have a similar sound/response to the script logo. Any info would be helpful. Members L6Sguy
a script dist+ aint gonna have theives lined up, if thats your worry. newer d+ sound similar to old (script and actual block-logo; dunlop versions are 'dunlop versions' not block-logo), but not exactly alike. of course, not all the older ones sound alike either, so....... perhaps going out and trying a dunlop version would be a smart move ---- depending on gear/settings/etc, it may be that you get exactly what you need from current models.
