Members Jibbs
I have a Vox wah v847 that starts crackling at the treble side of the sweep. I've tried a few cleaners on the potentiometer and it didn't seem to help. I can't seem to find what type of pot I need to replace it with either... any help? Members mistercoffee1
Hotpotz I (if you can find one), Hotpotz II, Fulltone Clyde pot (if you can find one), Smallbear "Blackbear" 100k wah pot.Any of these will work, as they are all 100k pots, with the taper you want for a wah. You can look here: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Categories.bok?category=Wah-Wah+and+Swell+Pedal+Parts You'd probably find cheaper prices though on eBay. Some local music shops carry Hotpotz II as well, so that may save on shipping.
