Members dogtemple Posted April 28, 2008 Members Share Posted April 28, 2008 hi ive been lurking for a while but need to ask something! i have a dano reel echo pedal, it does the echo thing fine but when i turn the effect on it gives a loud hum which is driving me mad. when its bypassed its silent, soon as the wet signal is on it hums. but it doesnt hum through the stereo out at all (only dry signal) ive tried it with a 9v battery and the hum is still there abit but not so bad. does anyone know what it may be? a dodgy earth or anything? ive tried different amps, different power supplies, different guitars, different leads, just the pedal into the amp only.... still the same. im stuck! thanks in advance for any help!
