Its an older unit but when it came out it was certainly ahead of it's time. If mine died today I would immediately hit ebay and get another one. YOu can use up to 10 effects at a time and it does have 1 12ax7 tube inside. I say for the price you saw it at its a no brainer, I would get it. Members Brett Valentine Posted May 24, 2008 Members Share Posted May 24, 2008 Nice unit. I still have my original SGX 2000 and X-15 MIDI pedalboard. Lot's of useful tones. Assigning multiple controllers to the expression pedals, you can also morph from a heavily distorted more dynamic tone to a clean tone with lot's of compression, all without losing or gaining level if you have a MIDI expression pedal or a similar MIDI control board. The mono and stereo fx loops are a nice touch as well. It does have a characteristic "tone" to it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
