Members webstersp
In my old setup I had a rackmount with Korg DTR-2 tuner. But I am not planing at buying a new rackmount but I am taking a look at some great pedals and effects. Any of you tried the Boss TU-2 or Planet Waves PWCT04 Chromatic Pedal Tuner ? I have read some mixed reviews about both of them. Some noises, som Hum sounds etc.... Should I stick with another Korg rackmounted tuner? (I would prefer a pedal if it does the exact same job!) Members makingbeds
i like the planet waves, i use it onstage. pros=true bypass or buffered, your choicesmall, reliableyou can have it be a strobe tuner or a normal style guitar tuner. cons=if you use the TB, you don't have silent tuning. i just use the tuner out option on my volume pedal so this doesn't matter i suggest this over the boss one, but i think the korg is the best one of the 3. its very visible. Members orangesix
i use the planet waves. small and super sturdy, easily readable on-stage. I run it thru the mixer out on my bad monkey with a vol. pedal afterwards which allows me to tune in silence.
