I was in a recording mood this weekend, so I threw together a couple of clips. Enjoy them, praise them, or just rip them apart. Your choice:)

AM High Gain NKT Sunface & MXR Carbon Copy with a Strat through a DRRI. Fuzz was full up, used the volume on the guitar for control.

The Sunface sounds like poo.

I'll do you a favour and take it off your hands.

Next time you're at L&M, leave it at the front counter.

It's a sacrifice a friend is willing to make.

thanks for the sunface demo ESPECIALLY the use of the volume knob.

i'm looking for a similar and slightly brighter sound...i think a tele/sunface/dmm combo will get me there.

do you recommend the high gain nkt over the regular?

YW...

From what Mike told me, the high gain NKT is slightly higher gain, and slightly brighter than the normal NKT. I've never tried the other so I wouldnt know.

I love this fuzz though, very responsive and i love how it cleans up with the volume of the guitar. Keep in mind that the Carbon Copy does darken the sound a bit. Running the Sunface straight into my DRRI is brighter.
