Members bedtime Posted July 6, 2008 Members Share Posted July 6, 2008 so a zoom 507 (reverb) popped up on CL for $30... i mean thats a good price, but is there anything in there worth having? i have normal (rv2) and super spaciousness (verbzilla) covered but if theres something weird/trashy in the 507 i'd love to snag it up. what say you gentlemens? Members Ultra.Fuzz Posted July 6, 2008 Members Share Posted July 6, 2008 The non multi-effects 5xx (503, 507, 508, 509, 510) seem to be pretty good actually. You get 24 presets, reverb, 990ms delay, chorus/flange (either before or after the reverb/delay module) ...and a tuner (!?). I've read great comments about the 508 [delay] and the samples I found were pretty good. The 509 [modulation/pitch/harmonizer] looks great on paper, I actually got close to buying one of those... Can't remember if I did test it or not. They use the same chip (ZFX-2) as the rack effects and "top" multis like the GFX-8, so I figure it might sound good.
