I went and bought a MightyMite J-bass replacement neck for it, but there are a couple things. It appears to be a bit shorter than the original neck. Also, the heel is a bit wider and shaped differently. If I keep the 12th fret halfway between the nut and the bridge will it be ok, or could there be intonation problems because the neck isn't exactly the same length as the original? Do you know any tutorials for shaping a heel of a neck to fit a neck pocket? Any advice would be appreciated.thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
