Members plasticknives
I have a Crunchbox and I am trying to use an adapter to power it (9v batteries are too expensive). I found a random 12v adapter in my room, but it doesn't seem to power the box. The pedal is rated up to 25v, so shouldn't this adapter power it fine? I've also tried a universal adapter rated from 5v-25v and that didn't work either. Any thoughts?

Members rdm
9v batteries are 2/$1 at Big Lots. The adapters might not work if they're not negative tip, or you fried the pedal....so nothing you plug into it will power it

Members flump
That's because it fried your pedal I run mine off of 12V...I doubt you fried it on any of those voltage ratings. As someone mentioned those adapters might be negative tip..or whichever the opposite of the standard boss style is.
