Members archlilim
I haven't heard much about these, but I just checked the video for it and it looks so sick, like one of the things I've been looking for as far as crackles. Anyone running one, how is it? Is the tone brighter or lower--that's the only thing I'm wondering. No reviews on this site. Thanks.
Members Fender&EHX4ever
It took a while to grow on me, but now I really love it. It's a very trebly overdrive that sounds terrific through my Fender amps. It does the 'crackle' thing okay, but it's not even a fraction as versatile as the Fuzz Factory for that purpose. But I don't think the 'crackle' feature is really it's strength. It's strength is to give a very crisp overdrive, which it does in spades.
Members mark7171
the germanium clipping is owned by MXR. haha... imo LED lamps clip in a exiting manner. if you can find the diode ring, switch to LED lamps. if you are going to "opto" type compression, the smooth LED character is incredible..i would switch out the germanium diodes to (the red BOSS style) LEDS. keep them in the box, or mount them on the face for 2 extra blinking lights on the pedal.
