Members v_c
Whats the advantage of powering pedals using a powerbrick such as this:http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_powerplant.htm Compared to using a 'regular' 9v adaptor and a daisy chain? (assuming we're talking about only maybe 6/7 pedals max, and that the 9v adaptor has enough power to cope with all pedals)
Members Jbrazz
except for having different output voltages, nothing, unless you get a PP2+ it will have isolated output and get rid of any kind of hum.
Members eclipseall
I have a powerbrick on my board and have never heard any hum. I think that all this talk about isolated outputs is just an exaggeration. It does have benefits with certain pedals but the powerbrick works just as flawlessly.
