Members formula2fast
What mods are there for DMM, and who is doing them? This pedal is awesome, but I am sure there is more that can be let out of the bag. Any help is appreciated.
Members Holey Lint Trap
Howard Davis was an engineer at EHX and helped develope the DMM. He can increase the delay time to the 550ms it should be. He also does true bypass mods for those without it and can do some gain reduction and input impedence mods to deal with the volume drop or hot pickup issues. I think he also changes the OPAMP for a more high fi sound but don't quote me on that. Analogman offers the same delay time increase, input impedence, and gain reduction mods. He also offers expression pedal input jack mods for blend, level, modulation, feedback, but NOT the delay time. He can also double the delay time to almost 1 second but that is an expensive mod that requires adding more BBD chips to the board.
Members formula2fast
I definitely want to fix the gain issue. I light up almost everytime I hit a chord. I sent Howard an email. I totally forgot about him. I had him do some stuff to a Small Clone many years ago, and lost his info. Thanks for the names Holey Lint Trap!
