Members amaleelake Posted November 25, 2008 Members Share Posted November 25, 2008 Yeah for sure compared to today's standards the recording quality is {censored}, but it is such a huge part of why I like those songs. It is almost like the method of recording (or lack thereof) is another instrument. You can almost see what the recording space looked like, it's just so raw. It also helps to give it a really stripped down "roots" style feel. Other examples are how songs like 400 years, Put it on, and Keep on Moving were recorded...
