Members noisywill Posted January 13, 2009 Members Share Posted January 13, 2009 I've got one, with the matching head. Good solid construction......problem is naff speakers. But I threw in 2x Vintage 30s and 2x G12H, which I got a great deal on from Watford Valves and it rocks!! I'd say it's worth it for the cab alone. The head is ok too for a made in china PCB thing. Valves are tosh though, threw in some Phillips JAN 6L6s and some old Brimar ECC83s and voila! A fine sounding half stack IMHO. Will Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members noisywill Posted January 13, 2009 Members Share Posted January 13, 2009 They're not too bad. But they're generic rebadged units. Just not enough low-end 'oomph' for me. Main reason I changed them was the deal on the Celestions was too good to pass up. You'd probably get a great sound with your Eminence Wizards and a couple of Vintage 30s though....
