Members LedZep1985
I'm thinking of purchasing a DS-1, and getting it modded for a Marshall in a box tone for live use. I play at a couple of open mics weekly, and sometimes don't feel like lugging an amp around just to play for 10-15 minutes at the open mic. I normally play instrumental stuff playing leads, so I'd like something somewhat smooth for lead tones, yet can get crunchy and aggressive as well. I usually play my Epiphone G-400 with SD Custom 5 in bridge, and SD Alnico II Pro in neck. I've been normally using my Keeley TS9 Mod Plus for that kind of stuff, but I'd like a little more aggression sometimes to change it up a little. When I play these performances, I plug the TS9 into the PA system. Any other pedals that would work well for this situation would be great as well if you know of any.
