Members uz3r
Hey all, tried searching for this but the search is broken. I have a POD 2.0 (jelly bean thing) which I use at home for recording. I love the effects on it and I want to be able to use them live, so I'm looking at the rack mount POD's. I have two questions: 1. I essentially think I need to run the rack through the effect loop in my 5150II. Is it easy to bypass all the amp and cabinet modeling in the rack units and just use the effects? I had trouble figuring out how to do this on the POD 2.0. 2. What is the difference between the POD Pro and POD XT PRO? I may have the opportunity to buy a 2nd hand POD Pro. Cheers!

Members GuitarGentleman
If you can, get the pod xt pro - it's way better. On the pod XT pro you have a screen that makes it much easier to see what is running and what is bypassed instantly. It is very easy to bypass all the amp modelling - just press one button. XT Pro also has way more effects and amp models and a lot of the extra ones are really good.
