psuedo step filter sounds on the cheap

i made a pretty cool discovery this morning playing around with my modulation pedals. just though i'd share.

 

slow, deep phaser > fast choppy tremolo = step filter (kind of)

 

obviously it's not exactly the same but sounds very cool.

 

my settings for this are:

small stone: color switch up, speed around 11:00

tr2: square wave, depth max, speed around 1:00-2:00
