Members Karma1 Posted April 28, 2009 Members Share Posted April 28, 2009 I've been thinking about getting a VG-99 and would be interested to hear from anyone who uses one. I've been using a Fender Roland-ready Strat for years with my GR33, so I'm all set on that front. Although I guess I'll have to get the FC-300 foot controller also, since I'd be using it for live performances. I'm surprised how expensive the pedal is. From what I've read and the video demo's I've seen, it sounds great. How are the synth sounds on it? I know it's based on an early Roland guitar synth so I'd expect that the sounds are more on the analog/retro side - maybe more suited for leads than chords or ambient pads. I've got a line on a used one I'm going to be checking out, possibly involving a trade, but I might consider buying it new. Anyone seen any deals on the FC-300, preferably used?
