I'm sure I read somewhere that microkorg patches are compatible with the MS2000 - I've saved my MK patches on pc with the editor but need now to get them into my MS2000... How do I do this? 2. My band is running two drum-machines and four synths, which at the moment are all midi-chained together so the master drum-machine clock controls the tempo. Everything is set to appropriate channels/filtering unecessary midi information... Trouble is I am using a DG-20 midi guitar for a few things and need to somehow get its signal into the chain without overriding/disconnecting the master clock. Any ideas how? 3. This kindof ties in with the last question - is a midi patchbay worth getting, if only to save wear and tear on instrument sockets? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members wetwareinterface Posted January 27, 2008 Members Share Posted January 27, 2008 the microkorg and ms2000 have similarities in abundance.but there are a few gotchas for patch compatibility. to be able to dump to the opposite synth...microkorg patches cannot have any arp pattern at all.ms2000 patches can't have any motion sequencer.neither can send vocoder patches to the other no banks.must be individual patches Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
