Members Tusks
They aren't the quality of most rack effects. A lot of the stuff is grainy and has it's own obtrusive quality. Great for live play. Won't replace your lexicon.
Members Khazul
They are fine for their intended use - ie DJing and for effect with alot of motion in them. If you try to use it for something stupid like adding ambience to vocal/accoutic recording, then it will probbaly sound like {censored}, unless of course its exactly what your after. My daily reference for rack effects are TC Fireworx, TC M-One XL, TC D-Two etc, so that sets the bar quite high - ie they are in a complete different price range. Actually I find the KP3 to be a good compliment to the fireworx as it also serves as a very useful midi controller for it. Ive only really ever use its effects in DJ type context - ie not nescessarily DJing, but while mixing stems etc. The key thing about it is its simple real time controllability and that makes it very useful in scenarios where a comparably priced and probably better sounding quality fx box would just be a pain, but as I said, its also a good compliment to a higher end fx box if that fx also has good midi control options. I wouldnt consider one as my only fx device for production, however as my only fx device for DJing - then yes - certainly.
