Waterfall have rounded back edges and drop straight down such as what you usually find on an organ and are nice for palm slides.

The typical semi weighted will have a sharper back edge and angle back towards the keyboard making them lighter but harder on the palm when doing slides.

Waterfall keys are wonderful on clonewheels. For pianos and EPs, however, you really want semi-weighted. That's why I hated playing organ patches on my Triton - it just didn't feel (or sound) right. For the same reason, I can't stand the way the Electro feels in piano or clav mode.
