Members 006
when i use the dc brick to power it (it's under the tuner), there's a high pitched hum. battery, it's ok. can't find a standard adaptor right now - wondering if it's the brick, or if this is inherent to the rc-2? Members johnrambo
in my experience, the rc2 likes to be on its own power supply. whenever i daisy chained mine it made noise like that.

Members fightthepower
DC Brick's outputs are not isolated; a PP2, or as you noted- a separate power supply (batteries won't last long) will solve this problem. Its just a high-draw digital effect, and they tend to need isolated power for clean and quiet operation.
Members 006
yeah, that makes sense. I'll have to live with it, and use batteries when needed.
Members eellox
I use the "1spot" and I don't get any unwanted noise. I usually only have 2 other pedals going at the same time.
Members Alt-me
Have you been looping whistles?
Members Ambient Exposure
My old rig had 2 RC-2's which were both powered on my T-rex Fueltank without any noise issues? (the fueltank isn't isolated, it runs 8 outputs @ 9vDC, 500mA total)
Members hooya
I can often hear clock noise or something like that in mine. No it's not the drum track. It's a high pitched thing. I can't hear it unless it's dead silent otherwise and nothing else is playing through it. First loop recorded and it's 1000% drowned out.
