Members NomadDudeMan
first just for a heads count who has a boss dd20? 2# is, can you/I put a extention tap tempo switch on it for the prpose of tap tempoing it? (i just got one, it rocks, i am aware of the button that you push for tap tempo with your finger)
Members barjv01
I have one, still like it. You can use a "momentary" footswitch to be a separate tap tempo pedal. Or you can use the right pedal on the DD20.
Members Alt-me
push and hold the right footswitch for two seconds and it switches to tap tempo mode, rather than cycling through the presets... or get a momentary (non-latching) footswitch and hook it up to the external footswitch jack, then this is your tap tempo. Hope this helps
Members turnstylepoet
I have one and I love it. Yes, you can use an external tap tempo pedal with the DD-20. Use any momentary switch pedal (you can build one easily) and connect it to the Control jack.

Members crowguitar
Have a DD-20 (plus about 6 other delays..lol).. these other posts pretty much sum it up. Press/Hold right footswitch for tempo (kind of a pain in the ass Live on the fly) or set up a momentary switch. The separate switch is better IMO

Not necessarily, the external switch jack can be used to either turn the effect on/off, switch presets or tap tempo. You have to assign one to the external jack. The manual will tell you how.
