Members SirJackdeFuzz
the old Zoom Ultra Fuzz is a good place to start for a GOOD generic NIN tone, imho.
Members SirJackdeFuzz
Back in the Downward Spiral days, he was also fond of recording a guitar an octave above where it would be on record, and shifting it back down an octave. This may have something to do with the bass being thicker on the FF. I have done somethig very simmilar in the past. Guitar -->MXR Blue Box -->Whammy4 -->AMP The Blue Box is a two active down unit, but w the Whammy i can bring it one octave back up, making my final sound a one octave down (in theory), and seeing that the Whammy is not the best tracking device for chords, i get real interresting sound scapes this way !
