Members louloomis
Hi. I know there are a lot of options. I mostly want the pedal for great sounding (i.e. warm) delays and will only use the looping function for very basic one-track looping stuff. Any thoughts? Thanks. Members Brambulance
dl-4 stereoman w/hazaraiakai headrush And to add to this; there are boss pedals which can loop, but for somewhat the same price you can get one of these. These have specific looping abilities!
Members Frankenstrat86
i totally mis-read the topic but yea the boss delays have hold functions except for the dd-7 which I believe has a loop mode but you're better with something else for both

Thanks.LouLoomis well I only have experience with the DL-4 and Stereoman but the dl-4 offers a loop mode in which you can use some delay, and each switch is dedicated to a specific loop function one does the recording/dubs another loops it once, the third keeps it looping and the fourth lets you tap the tempo. If I recall you can also use one to reverse your loop back and forth the memory man allows you to loop in any setting, but you gotta hold down the tap tempo to loop and release to let it start going. you can add filter, reverse the loop etc. the dl4 has 14 sec of loop time 28 if you slow it down the stereoman has 30 sec straight off the bat
Members MojoFilter
Hard to answer. The DD-7's looper sounds better than the DD-20's, but is considerably less flexible. Here's a little reading for you: http://www.loopers-delight.com/tools/bossDD20/bossDD20_review1.html
