Members p00n Posted May 16, 2010 Members Share Posted May 16, 2010 Just got a nice MIJ one with box and manual in trade. There isn't much in volume in the octaves, especially the 2 octave down. The one octave down isn't as bad, but still doesn't reach unity. Even the Dry signal seems to only go until unity at max. Is this normal? If so, it's quite unusable clean, but the volume drop works itself out with dirt after it and some dry signal blended in. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members Reauchambeau Posted May 17, 2010 Members Share Posted May 17, 2010 are you using it for guitar, or bass? oct2 is so low that it won't register on notes below the 12 fret on a bass guitar, I'm not sure of a guitar but you still probably have to play high up the neck to even use oct2. sounds like the indistinct notes you're hearing are probably the ones that are too low to register.
