Members uitar9 Posted July 17, 2010 Members Share Posted July 17, 2010 I've been an Variax/XTL user for 3 or 4 years-I only use the xtl as a stomp box, volume/Wah pedal and never use the amp/cab sims. I've been playing through small tube combos. Due to a severe Gassing condition I am thinking of buying a new amp and am considering some type of keyboard/PA setup to explore the xtl amp sims (I understand that a keyboard type amp is the way to get an uncoloured sound from the xtl). I need something that will also be loud enough for small club gigs in the stores I have tried a roland keyboard amp-a 350?- and a traynor 200?- Not bad. How about a Tech 21 Power engine 60-anybody use them with an XTL and also gig with them? thanks folks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
