Members gilwe
I'm trying to get that vocal harmonizing/vocoding effects but wouldn't like to spend more than a few bucks on a used unit. I came across the model made by Digitech at 1992: http://www.midisoft.de/studio2005/vocalist2.htm Do you think it is any good, or that I shouldn't expect for too much from a digital unit made 15 years ago ?... Any experience with these model ?
Members wetwareinterface
it works best if your singer is in key, if slightly off it still works okay.if your singer needs a lot of correction it will be a {censored}ed up mess with this one. the antares autotune box coupled with this as a second in a chain effect will work miracles for harmonizing. vocoding wise it sucks. much better off with a warpfactory or microkorg.think boss se-50 type vocoding, aka not a vocoder but more a delay line effect.
