Members SwingingAx
I don't understand why you need the behringer to begin with. I guess what you're saying is you'd like to not use the Zoom's Amp Sims. And you're hoping the direct mode will allow this. http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/g21u/ http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/g2nu/ Direct mode optiomized for recording All 30 drive sounds have a special modeling algorithm designed specifically for line recording. Simply turn on the DIRECT key on the top panel and enjoy dynamic amp sounds that recreate the ideal speaker cabinet characteristics over a flat response audio system or headphones. Of course, this mode works perfectly for direct recording to a DAW application via the USB audio interface. From what I can tell, the Direct mode affects/works with the Amp Sims. If so, it won't do what you want. I would suggest setting up the Amp Sims in every patch but have them turned off when saving the patch. Then you'd need to turn them on for practice, which would be the way to go if it isn't too much of a hassle to do so. Also, there is a Zoom Forum where you'd probably have a better shot at getting responses, much less accurate ones.
Members wro
i've got close to 20 patches and turning on amp/cabinet sims for all of them every practice and turn them off every gig is a little annoying, that's why i went with the gdi-21. it goes to the mixer, then to headphones for me and the others. i dream about a button to turn them off/on on all patches... well i dont use the 20 patches in every practice but depending on which songs we end up playing i might need any of them at anytime.there is an yahoo group i take part but i've had no luck getting answers so far.
