Members nicknuisance
I won't lie when I say that I'm new to midi controllers, but I thought I'd pick out the MPK49 after researching and looking for the best buy and bang for buck. Needed it for drums and a little key playing, and whatever else I could do with. My main problem is getting it to work in ProTools, period. First and only thing I've tried to do is get the transport controls to work with ProTools, to no avail. I've set the global midi clock to external and the transport controls to MMC. I've tried everything I could to get it to work PERIOD with protools, with the midi studio menu, the peripherals, everything. If anyone could shine some light on this or help me out a bit, it would be appreciated.

Members eric
I use MPK49 a little bit with Logic. It can do most anything as it has a lot of edit features. Have you done a side by side with your Pro Tools manual to try and assign things to do what you want?
