Members OMTerria
How do the 2 and 3 stack up against each other (besides the whole delay thing of course)? How do they compare to the 5? A Hall of Fame? My Cathedral isn't really doing the trick for me anymore and gambit's RV-2 thread have inspired me to look into the older Boss stuff (I've already had a good amount of exposure with the RV-5 and it's cool, but not really my thing). It would be used for post-rock influenced shoegaze/dreampop mostly, but range is always a good thing, supposing it does it well.
Members the avenger
just sold my RV-3. loved it, left it on ALL the time. great warm sound. definitely can't stack up features-wise to a HOF or RV-5. also sounded great with the balance turned way up and the tone turned way down. Members cutlunch
the rv2 was average - but its an old unit rv3 is the pick - can do 100% wet sounds rv5 is middle of the pack. more "modelled" sounds like the spring model. if i was to plug one it - i would use the rv3.
