Members gschmittling
I know it's reverse polarity, but can you use the battery hookup to use the octafuzz or is there another way to use it, or no luck?
Members Seth Carmody
There's a reverse polarity plug I'm sure. Yep, here it is http://www.visualsound.net/index.php/products/pedal_power_supplies/reverse_polarity_converter_for_yamaha_cyr1
Members who235
Yeah, but if you reverse the polarity you can't use other regular pedals on a daisy chain with it or things could go very wrong.
Members hrcnsfan
Yeah, but if you reverse the polarity you can't use other regular pedals on a daisy chain with it or things could go very wrong. It just reverses the polarity for the one pedal it's plugged in to...not the entire chain.
Members who235
It just reverses the polarity for the one pedal it's plugged in to...not the entire chain. We're not just talking about a reversed jack here, we're talking about positive/negative ground issues. The entire chain shares a common ground, so if you have positive and negative ground pedals in the same chain it will short the power supply at least.
