Members nToHrv
Hey guys, just looking for a bit of help with the order of my effects pedals. I play a Strat through a Savage Macht 12x amplifier (no effects loop). My pedal list is the following: TC Hall of fame reverbTC Flashback DelayTimmy ODFulltone OCDDigitech HarmonymanTC Polytune Just looking for your input for the order of these pedals ... (keeping in mind the Digitech HarmonyMan has distortion send and return jacks .. not sure if i should use that and why it's there ?) I do need the Harmonizer to work with both clean and dirty sound. I'm also in the process of buying an expression/volume pedal and a Wah .. recommendations are much appreciated and where would you put these in the chain. Appreciate your time and expertise guys! Members Naterel
The Harmonyman is a pitchshifter that would prefer to have your cleanest straightest signal, thats why the Distortion send and return is there. It probably does the tracking then allows the distortion instead of trying to track a distorted signal. I would do PolytuneHarmonymanTimmyOCDDelayReverb This is from the Manual Many guitarists prefer to add distortion before adding harmony signals. To do this, connect the Dist Send jack to the input of your distortion pedal, and connect the output of the distortion back to the Dist Return. Assuming my Delay and Verb would be chained through the output on the Harmonyman correct ? Any good expression/volume and wah recommendations ? and where would you chain these ?
