Members Player99
I have many different off the shelf earplugs. What I want are the best moulded Musicians Earplugs. My local hearing store offers Emsee brand at $200. Anyone with experience please help. Thanks.

Members Karma1
I just went to the Etymotic website and saw info on the musician's custom fit earplugs but I couldn't find anything on how much they cost. Anybody know about that?

Members markblasco
The audiologist who does the mold of your ears will know who to contact, the people I've gone to did it through westone. When you get to the custom molded options, there aren't many choices, but my audiologist told me years ago that they all basically use the same filter (which is the important part to keep the frequency spectrum even), so it doesn't matter much which brand you go with. I think custom earplugs are the best thing you can get as a musician. If you are willing to spend thousands of dollars on your rig, why not spend a couple hundred to protect your ears? The 15dB filters are a great option for bringing down the volume if you aren't in crazy loud situations. If you were going to be in a tiny room playing death metal, than the 25dB filters might be a better option. Westone Earplugs
