I am currently writing and recording, however my band consists of me on guitars and vocals and a friend on bass/synth/samples. Drums are being sampled via an SP-404SX. The bass is currently being played on an old CASIO. The other synth (non-bass) is a Roland RS-09.

For recording purposes I'm just using some basic bass synthesis from my DAW. I have about ten songs recorded and it's time to assemble a legitimate live performance, hence the need for a legitimate bass synth. And another guitarist.

They're all gonna have different sounds and different uses. Also the Mopho has a much more flexible pulse width wave that's continuously variable, which is pretty necessary for those fat synthy bass sounds.
Ahhhh, maybe I was thinking "Taurus" presets, thanks to this clip...

Gonna check into the Mopho, don't know much about it.
