Members The Aardvark
I have a late '70s twin reverb that's been converted into a head. It's 135 watts and has almost no breakup. Could this head be used for Bass? Would it essentially be the same sound as a late '70s Bassman 135 except with a different circuit? I'd probably use the normal channel virtually all the time. Members Fred5
It would work on low levels only. Loud and the speakers will kick the bucket. Get a bass cab and disconnect the internal spkrs.
Members The Aardvark
The twin has been converted to a head. I'd be playing it through a 2X15 bass cabinet.

Members godhacks
Couldn't hurt the amp. Seems like a decent setup.
