If wish you were hear is the worst song they've ever written then there doing pretty good by me:D I really like that tune, and I live Southern girl alot, both great songs. I like how He isn't afraid to express himself and never has that fake hard ass homeboy lyrics like the rest of the bands that came out in their era. He's just leaps and bounds a better lyricist than most in rock today.

But thanks for implying that we're idiots.

wow look at the progress!!! I might have to sit down after reading this!

Tomorrow

It's twelve o'clock, and it's a wonderful day.

I know you hate me, but I'll ask anyway.

Won't you come with me, to a place in a little town.

The only way to get there's to go straight down.

There's no bathroom, and there is no sink.

The water out of the tap is very, hard to drink,

Very hard to drink.

You, wait 'til tomorrow

You, wait 'til tomorrow

You say that money, isn't everything,

But I'd like to see you live without it.

You think you can keep on going living like a king.

Oohh babe, but I strongly doubt it.

Very hard to drink.

You gonna wait 'til, fat boy,

Freak

No more maybes

Your baby's got rabies

Sitting on a ball

In the middle of the Andes

Yeah, I'm a freak of nature

Yeah, I'm a freak

If only I could be as cool as you

As cool as you

Body and soul, I'm a freak

Try to be different

Well get a different disease

Seems it's in fashion

To need the coldsore cream

I don't really know

How to put on a 'cool' show

As boring as they come

Just tell me where to go

If only I could be as cool as you

Freak

The Door

Could've been like before

Could've had to lock the door

Make your mind

Let the door, let the door swing

Only one

Only one to let the door

Wanted to pretend he's dead

Didn't have to pretend

All this and more

Makes no sense to me

All this and more

Makes me drown

Let me know if it's alright

Let me know if you just might

Anthem for the Year 2000

We are the youth

We'll take your fascism away

We are the youth

Apologize for another day

We are the youth

Our politicans are so sure

We are the youth

And we are knocking on death's door

Never knew we were living in a world

With a mind that could be so sure

Never knew we were living in a world

With a mind that could be so small

Never knew we were living in a world

Where the world is an open court

Maybe we don't want to live in a world

Where innocence is so short

We'll make it up to you in the year 2000 with you

We'll make it up to you in the year 2000

Build it up for you in the year 2000

Make it hard for you in the year 2000

Build it up for you in the year 2000 with you

Hollywood

Listen to song

In the middle of the side of the road

I'm a cynical baby

So your god fell in love with the war

Well he's only your god

I'm the first male lesbian

I feel less being jaded

The gayest straight boy that you'll ever meet

And I meet everyone only not in the flesh

Easy, hopeless admiration of a Hollywood home

Easy, hopeless admiration...

We're living in, we're living in a Hollywood home

We're living in, we're living in a Hollywood hole

We're living in, we're living in a Hollywood home

We're living in...

In the middle of the side of the road

I'm a cynical baby

So your god fell on love with the war

He never knew why but hell he made a fault

Heads tied to a rolling sculpture

Limp feet proceed to hold me up

We're living in, we're living in a Hollywood home

We're living in, we're living in a Hollywood hole

Now that you've come home

Greatest View

You're the analyst

The fungus in my milk

When you want no one

And you got someone

Through the wind

You crawl

And laugh at burning dunes

When no one else will

Ever see

Now that you know why you feel like you do

They're turning their head whilst they wait

For no one

And finally I know why you feel like letting go

I'm watching you watch

Over me and I've got

The greatest view from here

I'm watching you watch

Over me and I've got

The greatest view from here

Mistakes don't mean a thing

If you don't regret them

So pack your tactic toes for the winter

Chain a waterfall to burned and withered skin

No-one else will ever see

I'm watching you watch

Over me and I've got

The greatest view from here

I'm watching you watch

Over me and I've got

The greatest view from here

Now that you know why you feel like you do

They're turning their head whilst they wait

For no one

And finally I know why I feel like you're letting go

I'm watching you watch

Over me and I've got

The greatest view from here

I'm watching you watch

Over me and I've got

The greatest view from here

The greatest view from here

The greatest view

Young Man, Old Man lyrics

Artist - The Dissociatives

Album - The Dissociatives

Lyrics - Young Man, Old Man

I've got a clearspot, a devilish psalm

but nobody's home to fix the alarm no

disgruntled woman, enchanted stains

we're tempted by god but nothing remains

[chorus]

hey boys we speak better than young men

but will be better than than an old man, honey,

you'll see

my faith is hungry like whale frozen toes,

steal cap fingers and nobody knows

it's raining concrete a tunnel wind blows

stones on my column the path that i chose

[chorus]

na na na na...

(kids singing: you ain't better than the rest)

[chorus]
