I bought some old tube equipment with tons of 6SL7 tubes, LOADS of octal sockets and 3 transformers that I can use to build tube amps... Using these components and the one 6L6GT that I have what kind of amp could I build? I am hoping to go for a 1 preamp tube, 1 poweramp tube simple setup. I was looking at Marshall Plexi and Vox AC30 preamps but they each require 3 preamp sections.... Would there be much difference in leaving out the cathode follower in these circuits?
