Members CaveDweller Posted June 15, 2009 Members Share Posted June 15, 2009 Been thinking about tossing in a table-top/rack Novation into my studio space for a while. I have a spot open for it now. I've been mulling over a decision between a used Novation Nova or the (slightly) newer KS Rack. The KS has more "hands on" control features but I've heard the Nova has a slightly "murkier" sound. I have only been able to demo a K-Station a while back (and liked it..but have no room for another keyboard). Novas and KS Racks pop up for sale (occasionaly) within my price range (i.e. $300-$400 USD). Anyone prefer (or recommend) one over the other? I'm looking for spacey pads, dark drifting textrures, Tangerine-ish throbs and the occasional vocoder effect. Cheers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members Umbra Posted June 15, 2009 Members Share Posted June 15, 2009 Personally the KS seemed harsher to me than my old a-station but it could be that I didn't spend enough time with it.
