Members Pavel
I didn't register on that forum (too lazy), but yeah... I remember those Gene Simmons demos, but it was just VH...
Members mattburnside
Do they do "Runnin' With the God of Thunder" and "Somebody Get Me a Doctor Love"?
Members ncook
I'm no expert on Gene Simmons, I'm just going by what it said on the tracks. It sounds different than DLR, the solo on running with the devils longer, cool:thu:
Members ncook
After listening to few others, I believe I heard a David Lee Roth squeel. My bad, it said Gene Simmons Demo. I wonder what thats all about. Anyway, its cool none the less, hearing different studio versions of songs by Van Halen from 1976.
Members ncook
By the way, in my own defense, it doesn't sound like standard DLR singing, its a bit more crude, less flash.
Members Pavel
Yeah, people call them the "Gene Simmons Demos" 'cause he produced them or something like that... I thought they were pretty cool when I heard them... I remember his tone sounding quite different... like a Plexi sound from a Free recording or something (less gain/compression than VH1).
