Members thomasmiranda
I just one an auction for a used mesa/boogie F-30, $560 shipped, good price? Im going to pay for it with a money order and I was wondering if I have any kind of protection against fraud with it. Say I send the money order and the guy never sends the amp, what can I do? Am I just screwed or what. Im not to worried as the guy has 300+ positives and 0 negatives and has shipped multiple amps before but I guess Im just a little paranoid. Any comments / suggestions from you guys that go through tube amps like water and use ebay would be great.

Members argonaut4
I only use Postal Money Orders for payment and never had a problem. Obviously, you first determine whether or not the seller is trustworthy. 300 positive transactions is a big plus in the trustworthy department. Send the MO Priority mail with delivery confirmation. It's a couple bucks, don't cheap out on that. Also, you'll be able to check yourself if the MO has been cashed.
Members thomasmiranda
ok so what happens if the money order has been cashed but 3 weeks later no amp and no response? Do I have any recourse or am I just screwed?
