Mesa F series loop ?

is the loop line level?

 

I know this has been covered before but i cant find it.

 

Exactly what are the specs on the FX loop, i cant find them in the manual.

 

Also im looking at getting an EQ for the loop. Suggestions?

Yes it's Line level - seems happy with both Pro and Consumer line level. I have my G-Major set at Consumer line level.

Also...

The loop in the F Series is parallel. Although it is easy to mod it to be series.

Consumer -10?

what are your average boss stompboxes rated at?

Basically I want to get a EQ for the loop and i want to know if i need a rackmount EQ or if a cheap Boss/DOD/MXR etc... will work.

Yup...

Pro = +4
Consumer = -10

For eq, you will need to mod the loop to series. PM me your email and I'll send you the instructions.

You don't have to mod the loop. I've run both stomp box EQs and rack FX set for 90% mix without a problem.
