Members Uze Soap
I would love to have a Marshall stack but I never thought I could afford one for many years. I could most definately afford this with a few paychecks, but I'm thinking it is totally {censored}ed since it's so cheap? I've drank a lot of caffiene today, I apologize. Members LedZep77
Stay away from the Marshall MG Series if you value your happiness...
Members Uze Soap
I figured as much. I don't think I can wait that long to save up for a tube stack without an amp right now. I guess I'm gonna have to go for the ValveKing.
Members 1big1
ditto. i had an mg 50. i got rid of it and replaced it with a roland cube 60. i also have a dsl 100 half stack. the mg series isn't even close to sounding like a good tube amp.. imho. save your money and get a tube amp. Members V-Type
Thats a good cheap price on new equipment. I think the cabs have Celestion 50's. The Mg series amps are Ok but thats about it. An AVT series would be a better investment. IMO.
Members pinkvoid
dude, if you can swing $600 this is what you should do. start saving additional $200. and while you do that stalk craigslist for: 1960 4x12 - $300 Marshall tube head - $500 get an authentic marshall half stack. Members Uze Soap
Thanks for the tip. Man, now you got me drooling. What's the url to craigslist?
Members DJLantz444
www.craiglist.orgif you don't know what it is, it's basically like.. newspaper ads online.. just more of them. If you like in a big city it's good, tons of stuff. If you don't live in a big city, then it's not very useful..

Members Cowinacape
I know the MG's get the crap kicked out of them around here, but I myself have a MG 15 that I use for late at night quiet time wankery, and for a cheapo, guitar striaght into amp deal it works pretty damned good, 100 bucks to bad of a hit on the wallet for and amp that comes out to play 4 or five nights aweek when everyone else is sleeping. Members Rindgecore
doesn't zakk wylde endorse an MG? i think that says enough about the amp.
Members GRIZ
I keep an MG15dfx in my garage, at low volumes it sounds pretty good. But that's all it's good for is low volume practice.
