Members OSAR
Just got my new Carvin Nomad last week. Decided to break in the Vintage 30 and a Blue Marvel in my nearly new Peavey Classic 30. I disconnected both speakers from their amplifiers and hooked them directly up to a stereo reciever. The volume was turned up loud enough to see the cones moving which was pretty loud. I played some thumpin' music all day long. My observations: -The Vintage 30 is more efficient (noticeably louder) -Even though they both sound terrible playing full range music, the Vintage 30 sounded better (smoother, more bass & treble) -I loved the Peavey Classic 30 before but I'm yanking the Blue Marvel and puting in a Vintage 30 to make it even better!
